There was another guy who worked on Saturday during breakfast, as soon as he saw us he immediately told us about the prize of the buffet, I told him that I was aware of the prize but he lie saying "oh ok just to let you know the prizes", I looked at him like WHAT! literally prizes are posted before enter the dinning area and it was a different price. Morning buffet was good tho and only one female employee was nice and friendly to us. No one went to clean our room, the toilet paper ran out and I had to go find a housekeeper to give me more towels and toilet paper. I called reception for more towels but they told me that I had to go down to the lobby to get them myself, otherwise they wouldn't have anyone to take them to my room.

When we entered the room, the room smelled bad, there were not enough towels to take a bath, the bathroom tiles were dirty and cracked and the sink was dirty. Previously, I had already spoken to Hilton customer service about the deposit but the hotel holds a different amount. my stay was 5 nights, I booked the hotel 4 months before my trip.

Bottom line, the soundproofing isn't as good as other properties we've stayed at (see our review of an MSP hotel).If I had the way to leave zero stars I would. Our stay also featured several noisy neighbors. You hear the electric motor "swoosh" and train braking most of the night. About 1 block from LA Metro light rail station. Con's: -Noisy, although not for reasons current management can fix. Reasonable food prices for a hotel property: big hamburger $8.50, chicken ceasar salad $13.95. Since we spent a fair amount of time at the property, we bumped into several staff, all of whom were very friendly. Free internet -Free parking -Clean and consistent with the brand's standards -Reasonable walk to grocery, Sizzler, Mexican, and fast food -Very accomodating staff they put us in a room at 9 AM after flying all night from New Zealand. If you need this service, it makes this property a good value. When we arrived, we discovered it was two blocks from another property we stayed at during an LAX layover. Our criteria were: airport shuttle, room available for early check in, and a familiar brand. We selected this hotel on very short notice due to an unscheduled 24 hour layover at LAX (thanks Delta).
